AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL LAND SURVEYING SERVICES
CONTRACT WITH JAMES P. DEADY, SURVEYOR, LLC
ALTA/NSPS AND TOPOGRAPHIC SURVEYS
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of specialized surveying services in
regard to ALTA(NSPS and topographic surveys for Block 402, Lot 25 within the
Borough; and
WHEREAS, James P. Deady, Surveyor, LLC, 295 Rt. 22 East, Whitehouse Station, New
Jersey 08889, possesses the requisite experience and expertise to provide said services;
and
WHEREAS, James P. Deady, Surveyor, LLC has submitted a proposal to provide said
services at a total cost not to exceed $5,300.00; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and the Council have reviewed said proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be available
for said purpose. Account N:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. The proposal from James P. Deady, Surveyor, LLC for
surveying services in regard to ALTA/NSPS and topographic
surveys for Block 402, Lot 25 within the Borough, at a total
cost not to exceed $5,300.00 is hereby approved.
2. This action is approved as an award of a professional services
contract pursuant to N.J.S.A 40A:11- 5(l)(a) in accordance with
the Borough's Fair and Open Process as authorized by law.
3. A copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the Borough's
Director of Engineering, Finance Department and James P,
Deady, Surveyor, LLC.
Adopted this 41h day of November, 2021
and certified as a true copy of the
original on November 5, 2021.
