AN ORDINANCE, levying acid assessing special rax bills against the lots
or tracts of land fronting or abutting on the roadway of Michigan
Street from the south line of Lunklin Street to the north line of
Louisiana Street, all of said improvement is within the limits of
sprinkling, oiling, repairing, surfacing and resurfacing District
Number Eight (8) of the City of Jefferson, Missouri .
BE IT OR JA BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF J EFFERSON, MISSOURI ,
AS FOLLO S:
SECTION 1. there is hereby levied and assessed at the rate and cost
price oer front foot as specified in Section 2 of this Ordiance
against the aggregate lots or tracts of land fronting or abutting on
the roadway of Michigan Street from the south line of Dunklin Street to
the north line of Louisiana Street , all of said improvement is within
the limits of sprinkling oiling,�repairting, surfacin and r esurfaci-ig,
District Number Eight (81 of the ity of Jefferson, M ssouri, for the
improvement of said roadway of said street, aforesaid by repairing,
surf aci g and resurfacing the sum of $756.00 as the cost that is levied
by statue for the improvement of said street and the number of front
feet fronting or abutting said roadway of said street afoesaid,
amounts to 1260 feet and the cost price per running foot is $0. 60.
SECTION 2. r"or the purpose of paying for said improvement of
said roadway of Michigan Street for the south line of 1'unklin Street
to the north line of Louisiana Street , all of said improvement is
within the limits of sprinkling, oiling, repairing, surfacing and
resurfacing District Number Eight (81 of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, there is hereby levied and assessed the sum of $0.60 as a
spetLbLl tax against each front foot of ground froting or abutting the
said roadway of the said street aforesaid9 and contained in such lots
or tracts of land fronting or abutting said improved roadway of said
street aforesaid.
SECTION 3. 'l!he name of each property owner or owners and the
discript4on fff the lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting on
each side of the Michigan Street from the south line of Lunklin
Street to the north line of Louisiana Street, all. of siad improvement
is with the limits of sprinkling, oiling, repairing, surfacing and
resurfacing "istrict Number Eight (8) of the ity cif Jefferson,
M1ssouri , the number of front feet owned by with owner or owners in the
lots or tracts of land owned and abutting said block or street,
the cost price per front foot for all improvement and the amount thereby
levied and assessed as a special tax for said improvement against each
lot or piece of ground fronting said roadway of said street afoesaid
is as follows:

SECTION 4. That the .ity �'lerkUis hereby instructed to amke
out special tax bills in favor of the ity of Jefferson, M ssouri, for
the within mentioned work in accordance with the Ordinances of the
City of Jefferson, M`ssouri, relative to said kind of work in accordant
with the Charter of said ity in regard to said w ork and according to
the Statue of the State of Missouri , as made and provided.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
and effect from and after its passage and approval.
