AN ORDINANCE levying and assessing special tax bills against the lots
or tracts of land fronting or abutting on the roadway of Polk Street
from 'the south line of River Lane to the north line of Water Street ,
all of said improvements is within the limits of sprinkling, oiling, AM
bepairing, surfacing and resurfacing -Listrict Number Four (4 ) of the
City of Jefferson, Missouri.
BE IT ORDAI17ED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON', MISSOURI ,
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION - .. There is hereby levied and assessed at a rate and cost
price per front foot as specified in Section 2 of this Ordinance
against the aggregate lots or tracts of land fronting or abutting
on the roadway of Polk Street., from the south line of "iver -Lane to
the north line of 'A'ater Street, all of said improvement is within
the limits of sprinkling, oiling, repairing, surfacing and esurfacing
District Number Four (4 ) of the City of Jefferson, Missouri , for the
improvement of said roadway of said street, afoesaid, by repairing,
surfacing and resurfacing the sum of $584,52 as the cost that is levied
by statue for the improvement of said street and the number of front
feet fronting or abutting said roadway of saidstreet afoesaid amounts
to 974.2 feet and the cost Price per running foot is $0.60.
,SECTION 2. 1. or the purpose of paying for said improvement of said
roadway of Polk Street, from the south line of River Lane to the
north line of Water Street, all of skid improvement is within the
limits of sprinkling, oiling, repairing, surfacing and esurfacing
District Number i1our (4 ) of the ity of Jefferson, Missouri, there
is levied and assessed the sum of $0.60 as a special tax against
each front foot of ground fronting or abutting the said roadway of
the said street aforesaid, and contained in such lots or tracts of
land fronting or abutting said improved roadway of said street afore-
said. I
SECTION 3. he name of each property owner or owners andthe descript-
ion of the lbt or piece of ground fronting or abuttirif on each side of the
the Polk Street., from the south line of River Lane -to the north line
of Water Street, all of said improvement is within the limits of
sprinkling, oiling, repairing, sirfacing and resurfacing District
Number our (4 ) of the City of Jefferson, M . ssouri, the number of
front feet owned by each owner of owners in the lots ort racts of
land owned and abutting said block or street, the cost price per front
foot for said imorovement, and the amount thereby levied and assessed
as a special tax for said improvement against each lot or piece Bf
ground fronting said roadway of said street aforesaid is as follows:

SECTION 4. That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to amke out
special tax bills in favor of the City of Jefferso;i Missouri , for the
within mentioned work in accordance with the Ordinances of the City
of Jefferson, Missouri, relative to said kind of work in accordance
with the Charter of said City in regard to said work and according to
the Statues of the State of Missouri , as made and provided for.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
