AN ORDINAvCE RELATING TO THE SALARY TO BE PAID TO THE DESK SERGEANT
OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI.
BE IT MDAI NED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON.
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section That the Desk Sergeant of the Police Department
of the City of ' effersori, Missouri, shall receive as salary
190.00 per month, said salary to start as of February 1st, 1949.
Section 2 . All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. his ordinance shall take effect m d be in force
from and after its passage aiid approval.

An ORDINANCE CREATING STOP SIGNS AT THE I14TERSECTION OF MCCARTY
STREET AND CLARK AVENUE.
BE IT CRDAI NED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSORp
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1, hereafter all motor vehicles, motorcycles,
or- other vehicles shall come to a full and complete stop before
entering the intersection named belowg
Stop on McCarty Street before entering intersection at
Cla rk Avenue.
Stop on Clark Avenue before entering intersection at
McCarty Street.
Section 2. any person violating any of the provisions-
of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and subject to
a fime of not more than one hundred dollars (0100-00), or im-
prisonment riot to exceed ninety (90) days, or both fine and
imprisonment.
Section 3. 'his ordinance shall be In force from and
after its .passage aid approval.
Section 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby^repealed.
