(lompany for the construction of a retaining wall along the northerly
side of said Inlot No. 4230 the location and dimensions of said inlot
more particularly described in the contract with the Roy Schoperle
Construction Company, and is shown by a plat which is attached hereto xxd
and made a part of this contract, thst paid Qwner is to pay the said
construction cornpany the sum of Tweity- our Hundred Dollars ($2400) for tl
the work done and performed in constructing said retaining wall.
It is therefore agreed as follows: that said City shall place
in the hands of We A. Bassman as escrow agei'Llt the said sum of
TWEvTY-FORU HUNDRED DOLLARS ($2400) to be paid said Scheperle ('on-
stru6tion Oompany when said work is completed accroding to the plans
arid terms of the contract heretofore mentioned.
It is further agreed that in the reconstruction of High Street
along said Ownerh property between Station 10';35.76 to opposite
Station 11• 38.14, a distance of 102. 38 feet, the present grade line
of said street shall be changed as shown by plans on file in the
office of the City Clerk of said City.
It is further agreed that thild Qwner has acknowledged a
Waiver of Claim for damages for change in grade for the construction
of said High Street in the pity of Jefferson, Missouri , together with
a temporary construction easement over a strip of land 5 feet wi de
lying on the south side of High Street between Station 10*95 arid LL*15, a
a distance of 20 feet.
That said agreement shall also be placed in the hands of
We A. Bassman, and that upon paymnet of the sum of One ThatiBadd

shall be delivered to said City.

Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3, This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.

AN ORDINANCE, releasing and quit claiming all of the rightz,
title and interest of the ,itv of Jefferson to a part of the
Southeast quarter of the . outheatt quarter of Section 20 ad part of
'the Routhwest quarter of the 'outhwest quarter of Section 21,
township 44, haage 11, containing 0.3 acres more or less and described
more particularly as follows;
Beginning at the Southeast corner of the Woutheast quarter
of the Southeast quarter of Section 20, township 48, Raiige 11; thence
