writings conveying all of the right, title and interest of the
City of Jefferson to Anton Vaii '"oo and Agnes Van oo,, his wife.
WHEREAS' it has been shown to the it7, `council of the "ity of
Jefferson that
,, Missouri, at its meeting held on "pril 19th, 19490
Anton Van 'oo and Agnes Van "oo, his wife., and their predecessors in
title and their grantees and assigns have been in open,, notorious
and arverse possession of a strip of land herein as described for
more than forty years and that they have claimed title, as well as
possession of said land, and for more than forty years has beeti eiielosed
by their fences and that the City of Jefferson in July of 1930 acquired
the record title to the same land., but that the or of Jefferson

has not since that date entered into possession r claimes possession
of thestrip of ground hereinafter described and it has been shown
to the pity Council of the Pity of Jefferson, Missouri that it
would be advantageous arid to the best interest of the pity tosettle
and determine the rights to the dis'puted land and to avoid costly
litigation to release and forever quit claim any right, title and
interest which the �'ity might have in and to said land to the said "nton
Vai, Loo and Agnes Van Loo, his wife, and to deliver to the said
Anton Vaii "oo and Agnes Van -Loo, his wife, a quit claim deed to the
disputed land for the consideration of $1.00 cash;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COURCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. hat the city 'douncil of the t;kty of Jefferson,
M ssouri, deems it advantageous, expedient and advisable to release
whatever interest it might have in and to the following real estate,
situate in Cole ounty, Missouri , to-wit;
Part of the Southeast quarter of the Ooutheast quarter of
Section 20 and part of the southwest quabter of the south-
west quarter of Section 21, township 44, Range 11, con-
taining 0.3 acres more or less and described more particularly
as follows:
BeginniXig at the Southeast corner of the Southeabt quarter
of t8e outheast quarter of Section 20, Township 44, Range 11,
N-56 -45t-W 35 feet to aeold wire fence; tnence along and
with said wire fence N-82 -E to the westerly line of the
county road; thence southerly along the westerly line of the
oDunty road to the south boundary, line of Section 21; thence
west along the section line to the point of beginning.
iind the Mayor of the �'Ity of Jefferson Is hereby authorized to
execute and deliver a good and sufficient quit claim deed conveying
in behalf of and in the name of the '��ity of Jefferson all of the
right" title and interest of the said ity of Jefferson to Anton
Van Loo and Agnes Van Loo, his wife, f8r and in consideration of the
sum of $1.00.
Section 2. this ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval .
