proper form, setting forth the names and widths of all avenues,
streets, and drives, setting forth the dimensions of all plocks arid
lots, and setting forth all block and lot numbers in said subdivi-
sion, which said subdivision they have designated by the name of
"Hedgewood Heights (Block A)", arid have dedicatbd all streets,
avenues. drives and easements therein to the city of 0efferson,
Missouri, for public use forever;
AIND THAT WHEREAS It appears that the subdividing of said land afore-
said has been under the supervision of Capital Engineering ompany,
of the r,ity of Jefferson, Missouri, arid that the said land bias been
surveyed and laid out into lots as aforesaid by competent surveyors
of said Capital Lngineering Company, and that said subdivision in al
respects conforms with the requirements of law arid the Ordinances
of the ity of Jefferson;
NOW THEREFORE, It is ordained that said subdivision as shown by said
plat, its name 11hedgewood Heights (Blovk A ) ", the plat thereof,
the metes and bounds of all blocks and lots, and the name and widths
of all streets arid avenues are hereby approved, and the didication
of said streets, avenues, drives arid easements is hereby accepted,
nad the City Clerk of the City of Jefferson is authorized and direeb-
ed to certify upon the plat of said subdivision the passage of this
Ordinance and said plat shall be duly recorded in the Office of the
Recorder of Deeds of Cole county, Missouri, according to law.
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage and approval.

AN ORDII!ANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AMUNICIPAL CORP ' RATION, TO SIGN AivD EXECUTE A CERTAIN
RELEASE ON THE PART OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS HEREIN
AFTER SET OUT:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. 'he Mayor of the city of Jefferson, Missouri ,
a municipal corporation, is hereby authorized ad directed to sign
and execute on behalf of the ity of Jefferson, Missouri, a certain
release, the terms of said release to be as follalws, to-wit:
RELEASE
For and in consideration of the payment to the estate of
John 'onrad Schmidt, deceased, by the City of Jefferson, Missouri,

of three thousand pour and 3500 ($3,004.35) Dollars arid the
agreement of the City of Jefferson City, Missouri to release ,
quitclaim and forever discharge the estate of John �'onrad Schmidt
from all rights, claims, demands or obligations under a contract
dated October 7, 1947 between John Conrad Schmidt, deceased, and the
City of Jefferson City, Missouri for consulting engineering services
in connection with the construction of two swimming pools at Jefferson
City, Missouri, Barry J. Myers, Administrator with the Will "rrnexed
of the estate of John Conrad Schmidt, agrees to turn over to the
City of Jefferson City, Missouri all the drawings, data and other
matter heretofore prepared pursuant to said contract and upon the
payment of said Three Thousand Four and 35/100 ($3,004.35) Dollars
does hereby release, remit acid discharge the City of Jefferson ity,
