AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING AND REDISTRICTING OF C ERTAI14

SHALL BECHANGED FROM A "B" DISTRICT AND REZONED AvD REDISTRICTED SO
THAT THE SAME SHALL BECOME AN 'IF" DISTRICT.

WHEREAS I a petition was filed withtthe � Ierk of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, praying for an amendment, reclassification and
redist rioting of the boundaries of the zoning ordinances of the
City of Jefferson, and requesting a rezoning of the territory in said
petition, described, and praying that a rezoning be had of the same
to provide for the best interest of the public,, and
WHEREAS$ as is provided for the zoning ordinances of the
City of Jefferson, Missouri , a notice of the filing of said petition
was published in the Post Tribune dune 1. 2 and 3. 1949, Daily
Capital Vews June 4. 1949, and Sunday News aild Tribune June 5, 1949,
said notice stating that all parties are hereby notified that the
City Council of the City of Jefferson would consider said change at
its first meeting after said publication had been mm de., and that
public hearings would be held on June 6. 1949, and,
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Hereinafter the following described real estate
may be used, occupied, built on and buildings constructed thereon for
public purpoces, and the same shall be classified as a District 'IF",
as is now provided in the moning ordinances of the City of Jefferson,
Yissoihri and said land so rezoned, reclassified acid redistricted is
more particularly described as follows, to-wit:
the property ldcated at Street Address No. 1124
East High Street in Jefferson,Gity,
, , County of Cole., and
State of Missouri.
Section 2. All ordinances or part's Qf ordinances in conflftt
with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. '`his or dinance shall become eff6btive upon its
,passage and approval.
