A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS ADOPTING A FIVE YEAR CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENTS PLAN TO GUIDE THE SELECTION OF
CAPITAL PROJECTS FOR INCLUSION IN THE ANNUAL
OPERATING BUDGET OR FOR CONSIDERATION BY OTHER
FINANCING ALTERNATIVES.
WHEREAS, the Richland Hills Home Ruler Charter requires the
City Manager to submit a Capital Improvements Budget to the
City Council as a part of the annual operating budget for
the City; and
WHEREAS, the Richland Hills City Council has conducted
extensive workshops to identify, to evaluate and to
prioritize capital project proposals for the city; and
WHEREAS, the City of Richland Hills has conducted public
hearings to allow citizen input into the planning process
for capital projects; and
WHEREAS, a Five Year Capital Improvements Plan for the
period 1989 to 1994 has been prepared for the City of
Richland Hills.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF RICHLAND HILLS.
THAT, the document "Five Year Capital Improvements Plan -
1989 to 1994" is hereby adopted as the guide for capital
project proposals for the City of Richland Hills.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, MEETING IN REGULAR SESSION THIS
MARCH 27, 1989 BY A VOTE OF 4 AYES, 0 NAYS
AND 0 ABSTENTIONS.
