• RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE PUBLICATION OF
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ISSUE CERTIFICATES OF OBLIGATION

CITY OF RICHLAND HILLS
WHEREAS, the City deems it advisable to give notice of
intention to issue Certificates of Obligation in the amount
of $1,000,000 for paying, in whole or in part, contractual
obligations to be incurred for the construction and equip-
ment of a public safety/administration building and an addi-
tion to the community center building for the City, and for
paying legal, fiscal and professional fees in connection
with this project.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF RICHLAND HILLS:
1. That attached hereto and marked "Exhibit A" is a
form of Notice of Intention to issue Certificates of Obliga-
tion, the form and substance of which are hereby adopted and
• approved.
2. That the City Secretary shall cause said notice to
be published, in substantially the form attached hereto, in
a newspaper of general circulation in said City, and pub-
lished in said City, on the same day in each of two consecu-
tive weeks, the date of the first publication thereof to be
before the fourteenth (14th) day before the date tentatively
set for the passage of the Ordinance authorizing the issu-
ance of Certificates of Obligation.
3. That this Resolution shall become effective immedi-
ately upon adoption.

CITY OF RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ISSUE
CERTIFICATES OF OBLIGATION SERIES 1989
NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the
City of Richland Hills to issue Combination Tax and Water-
works and Sewer System Revenue Certificates of Obligation,
series 1989, in the maximum principal amount not to exceed
$1,000,000 for paying, in whole or in part, contractual
obligations to be incurred for the construction and equip-
ment of a public safety/administration building and an addi-
tion to the community center building for the City, and for
paying legal, fiscal and professional fees in connection
therewith. The City proposes to provide for the payment of
such Certificates of Obligation from the levy and collection
of ad valorem taxes in the City as provided by law, and from
the revenues of the City's Waterworks and Sewer System,
after payment of all operation and maintenance expenses
thereof, and all debt service, reserve and other require-
ments in connection with all of the City's revenue bonds
(now or hereafter outstanding), which are payable from all
or any part of the Net Revenues of the City's Waterworks and
Sewer System. The City Council intends to consider for
passage at a Regular Meeting to be held at 7:30 P.M. on
May 22, 1989, an Ordinance authorizing the issuance of such
Combination Tax and Waterworks and Sewer System Revenue
Certificates of obligation, Series 1989, at the City Hall,
Richland Hills, Texas.
