OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSOTJ1 VISSOURI.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL CF T I-TE CITY OF JEFFERSO';
MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTIMIJ 1. All street laborers shall receive One Dollar
per hour for the time actually employed, said employment
shall not exceed forty-nine (49) hours )er week or five and one
half (5-;�) working days and shall paid therefor at the end of each

week by and through the Street Commissioner whose duty it shall be
to keep accurate account of all labor andreport the sane at each
regular meeting of the ity Council.
Section 2. Said street laborers stall receive said 6n6.'.Dollar
(,,1.1.00) per hour starting as of June 1st, 1949.
Section 3. All ordinances of )arts of ordinances in conflict
with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.
