Subc-itractor. A subcontractor is oric who has entered into a

has already contracted for its performance.
Employee. For the purpose of this ordinance in determining
whether a given individual, firm or corporation is an employee ,
contractor or silbcontractor, an employee shall be defined as one
who wirks for wares or salary in the service of an employer.
Section 2. It i. s hereby provided that the variot;s objects ,
sub-'ects , persons, trades , vocations and. occu)ations carried on
witiiin the city of Jefferson as hereinafter enumerated., shall be
licensed., t axed andrej:ulated as hereinafter provided:
1. CoLatractors, Fifty Dollars Per irear; subcontractors
Twnety-fiv6 Dollars per year.
Section 3. 11,11 ordinances of parts of ordinances in conflict
with this ordinance ate hereby repealed.
Section 4. this ordll.nance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its )ass-afre and a.);)roval.
