A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RICHLAND HILLS TO ADOPT AN EMPLOYEE POSITION
CLASSIFICATION PLAN AND COMPENSATION SCHEDULE.
WHEREAS, there exists a need to establish an equitable
compensation system for all persons employed with the City
of Richland Hills; and
WHEREAS, the City of Richland Hills has employed a
professional personnel management consultant to evaluate all
current positions and to compare these positions and the
associated levels of compensation with those of cities in
the vicinity of Richland Hills; and
WHEREAS, the staff has prepared an Employee Position
Classification Plan and Compensation Schedule which will be
used for all present employees and for all future new hires.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS:
THAT, the Employee Position Classification Plan and
• Compensation Schedule is hereby adopted; and
THAT, all associated salary adjustments are to be effective
June 29, 1989.
AND IT IS SO RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, ON THE MOTION OF LOGAN ,
SECONDED BY WRT~HT
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, MEETING IN REGULAR SESSION THIS
JULY 10, 1989 BY A VOTE OF 2 AYES, 1 NAYS AND
0 ABSTENTIONS.
