governriental interference , breakdowi, or iii;urn* to machincry or distrf-bu-
t1mg lines, or other accidents or causes not reasonably witnin its control,
shall not constitute a ')rF ach of this;-,contrnct o: t'le part of Utility,
aiid Utility shalt: not be liable to Vunici )ality fir airy damages resulting
from such temporary cessation of service.
Section 10. That the poles, wires and equipment placed by
Utility on the streets, avenues, alleys and public places in Nunici-
pality shall be exempt from any special tax, assessment, license or rental
fee to Vunicipality during the term of this Ordinance .
Section 11. That t;;is Conti act ordinance shall, if accepted by
Utility, be in full force and effect for a term of tel (10) years
from and after date of passage hereof'.
Section 12. That Utility shall, within sixty ( 60) days after
having received a certified' copy of the Ordinance, file a written
acceptance of the terms and conditions hereof. Upon the filing of such
acceptance, this Contract Ordinance shall becowe binding u9on the
Yunicipality and said Utility.
Section 13. That during the period of this contract, the
Council of the Uity of Jefferson shall pass all necessary steps for
the assessment aiid collection of sufficient taxes as provided by law,
or, otherwise provide funds from city revenues, for the payment of the
cost of service furnished hereunder.
Section 14. That all provisions of this Ordinance which are
obligatory upon or shall unure to the benefit of said Utility shall
inure to the benefit of all successors and assi _,;ns :.: f said Utlitty.

SECTIOI+ 1. That the Cittr ouncil of the City of Jefferson,
M4ssouri, hereby declares and ordains that it deems it necessary for
sattary purposes arid for the health of its inhabitants of the City to
establish a Sewer District to known as Sewer District No. 73, and
said district to be established with location and boundaries as
follows: BeC;inning at the southeast corner of lot 32 of 4ista Place
Addition; thence west to the southwest corner of said lot on the east
line of Argonne Avenue; thence north albong the east line of Argonne
Avenue to the south line of Y.cCarty :treet; thence east along the aouth
line of McCarty street to the northeast corner of lot 18; thence east
to the southwest corner of lot 2 Block 4 of tefferson heights Addition;
thence north to the not)th%vest corner of lot 1 block 4 Jefferson Heights
Addition on the south line of V.cCerty Street; thence eadt along the south
line of McCarty Street to the northeast co, ner of lot 1 Block 4 of Jefferson
Heights Addition on the west line of Ave-0e "B"; thence south alone; the
west line of Avenue "3" to the southeast corner of lot 10 31oek 4 of
Jefferson Hei:;hts Addition; thence southwesterly 190. 5 .feet to the point
of beginning.
SECTIM,i 2. All Ordinances of :)arts of Ordinances in conflict
with htis Ordinance are hereby repealed.
