• RESOLUTION CALLING AN ELECTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHLAND
HILLS, TEXAS:
1. That an election shall be held between the hours of 7:00 o'clock a.m. and
7:00 o'clock p. m. on January 20, 1990, in said City, at the following designated
polling place:
City Hall
3200 Diana Drive
Richland Hills, Texas
Said City shall constitute a single election precinct for said election.
2. That absentee voting shall be conducted by personal appearance and by
mail at the City Hall, Richland Hills, Texas, during the period absentee voting is
required or permitted by law, being January 2, 1990, through January 16, 1990, the
hours designated for absentee voting by personal appearance shall be from 8:00
o'clock a.m. to 5:00 o'clock p.m. on each day except Saturdays, Sundays and legal
state holidays; and the absentee voting clerk shall keep said absentee voting place
open during such hours for absentee voting by personal appearance. The absentee
voting clerk for said election shall be the City Secretary.
• 3. That all resident, qualified electors of said City shall be entitled to vote
at said election.
4. That notice of said election shall be given by posting a notice in
compliance with the Texas Election Code on the bulletin board used for posting
notices of City Council meetings located at the City Hall, in such manner that said
notice is visible to the public 24 hours per day, seven days per week, not later than
the 21st day prior to the date set for the election; and a copy of said notice also
shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in said City, not earlier than
the 30th day or later than the 10th day prior to the date set for said election.
5. That at said election the following PROPOSITIONS shall be submitted in
accordance with law:

office of Mayor by recall?

AGAINST the recall of W. H. (Bill) Vincent, Jr."

Councilmember, Place 1, by recall?
FOR the recall of Gary Bode
AGAINST the recall of Gary Bode."
PROPOSITION 3
"Shall Michael Logan be removed from the office of
Councilmember, Place 3, by recall?
FOR the recall of Michael Logan
AGAINST the recall of Michael Logan."
6. That said election shall be held in compliance with the Charter of the City
of Richland Hills, Texas, and the Texas Election Code.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Richland Hills,
Texas, by a vote of 5 ayes, 0 nays and 0 abstentions this 27th day of November, 1989.
