AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TEMPLE CITY AMENDING SECTIONS
5101 AND 5102, AND ADDING 5103 TO THE
TEMPLE CITY MUNICIPAL CODE RE THE HEALTH
CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1, Sections 5101 and 5102 of the Temple City Muni-
cipal Code are hereby amended, and Section 5103 is added, to read as
fol lows:
Section 5101. There is hereby adopted as the City Health
Ordinance of the City of Temple City, except as it is hereafter amend-
ed, Ordinance No. 7583 of the County of Los Angeles, being the Health
Code of the County of Los Angeles, as amended and in effect January 1,
1961.
Section 5102. Three (3) copies of Ordinance No. 7583 as
adopted in Section 5101, have been deposited with the City Clerk, and
shall be at all times maintained by said Clerk for use and examination
by the public.
Section 5103, Ordinance No. 3275 as adopted in Section 5101
is amended as follows:
A. Whenever In the ordinance reference is made to the
Health Officer, it shall be deemed to refer to the
Health Officer of the City of Temple City, or such
other public body, officer or official employed,
authorized or designated to enforce the Health Laws
and the City Health Ordinance in the City of Temple City.
B. Whenever in the ordinance reference is made to the
County of Los Angeles or to the unincorporated area
of said County, such area shall be deemed to include
in its true geographical location the area of the
City of Temple City.
C. Whenever in the ordinance reference is made to
the Board of Supervisors, such reference shall be
deemed to refer to the City Council of the City of
Temple City.
SECTION 11: This ordinance shall become effective 30 days
after the final passage thereof.
