ionment of said costs such lots or pieces of ground in said Sewer
District No. 78 0 so situated., each square foot of round contained
in said hints or pieces of ground in said Sower District No. 78

NOW, TREREFORE, for the purpose of p aging for the work• of
construction amd completion of sewers in said Sewer District No
78 - together with all necessary laterals,, inlets,, catch basins,
more and o ther necessary ap -)urtenances thereto appertaining., there
is hereby levied and assessed again'st the several and hereinafter
described lots or pieces of ground within the bounds of said sewer
District No. 78 . situated in the name of the respective name
of the :,owner or owners of said lots of pieces of ground, a special
tax at the rate of_ $0.01705 per square foor for each and
every square foot oT ground so s tuatef as aforesaid.
SECTION 2. Each of the lots or pieces of gtound so mentioned
and referred to in this Ordinance., agFi nst which a spacial tax bill
is specified in Section 1 of this Ordinance id levied and assessed
and the same is hereby levied and a ssessed and t he description of
said lots or pieces of ground and the name of the owner or owners
thereof in whic7j the tax is levied and assessed and the cost per
square foot and the amount assessed each lot or piece of ground in
said Sewer District No. 78 situated in the name of the
owner or owners thereof., the number of feet owned by each property
holder in the lots or pieces of ground owned by each owner in said
Sewer District No. 78 is as follows:
H. 'C. & Sallie C. Wald-man, owners of lots 1 to 11 Inclusive of
Block 1 of Jefferson Heights Subdivision.
Assessment 812102.0 sq. ft. $0.01705 ost $1382,78
H. C. & Sallie C. Waldman,, owners od lots 1 to 10 Inclusive of
Block 2 of Jefferson Heights Sbudivision.
Assessment 65,198.0 sq. ft. @ $0.01705 Cost $1111.62
SECTION 3. The City clerk is hereby instructed to proceed
at once to make e -out soetbal tax bills under the seal of the City
of Jefferson, M. ssouri , of the afovsaif amounts against said lots or
pieces of land in the aforesaid Sewer District No 78

situated . mentioned and described in the heretofore mentioned
sections of this Ordinance in the rename, of the owner or owners
thereof, which said special and certified tax bills shall be signed
by the Mayor and attested and recorded by the k,ity �'lerk and delivered
to Schell Construction Company , the Contractor of the
work of construction of the aforesaid sewers as provided and re-
quired by the "harter of the ity of Jefferson and the Ordinances
authorizing and ordering the construction of sewers in said
Sewer District No. 76 heretofore passed and paaroved by
the Cibuncil.
SECTIO14 4. phis Ordinance shall t ake effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.
