AN ORDINANCE AUTHROIZING END DIRECTING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON TO SIGN AND EXECUTE, ON BEHALF OF THE CITY,.AN AGREEMENT
WITH J. RM4OND BRUMMETT, DOING BUSINESS AS BRUMMETT AIRHCRAFT
COMPANY, PERMITTING SAID J. RAYMOND BRUMMETT TO OPERATE ON AND
FROM THE JEFFERS-)N CITY MEMORIAL AIRPORT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, A S FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The MW or of the �'ity of Jefferson, Missouri,
is hereby authrrixed and directed to sign and execute, on behalf
of the said City, an agreement with J. Raymond Brummett, doing
business as Brummett kircraft Company, permitt-ng the said
J. Raymond Brummett to operate on and from the Jefferson Catty
Memorial airport, the terms od said agreement, being as follows:
AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this day of
October, 1950, by and between the ('ity of Jefferson, Misso uri,
a Yunicipal orporation, hereinafter sometimes referred to as
Owner, and J.^ Raymond Brummett, doing business as Brummett Air-
Craft `company, hereinafter sometimes referred to as Operator,
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, The City df Jefferson, Missouri, is the owner of
that tract of land situated in Callaway Uounty, Missouri, known
as the 'Jefferson City Memorial "irport��; and
WHEREAS, IS. Raymond Bruipmett, doing business as Brummett
Aircraft Comapny, is in possession of a certain portion of said
Jefferson City Memorial Airport under a 99-year lease from the
City of Jefferson, Missouri, in vhich lease is reserved the
.yearly rental of Three Hundred route: Dollars ($304 ), and said
J. Raymond Brummett desires to and is conducting therefrom certain
f lightz operations which require the use of the said Airport;
NOW, THEREFORE, the said J. Raymond Brummnett, doing
business as ". Brummett ``ircraft Company, for and in consideration
of the privilege of operating end carrying on his flight operations
and other activities on and from the Hefferson City Memorial
Airport for the period of one year from the lst day of July,
1950 to the 30th day of June, 1951, hereby covenants and agrees
with the said Oity of Jefferson, Missouri, as follows:
1 Operator agrees to pay to the said 6wner, in lieu of
allother rentals, the sum of Two Cents per gallon on all gasoline
delivered or used by said operator from his pumps located on said
Jefferson City memorial irport, and Two Per cent (2%) of his
gross business, other than gasoline sales, conducted at caid
Jefferson City Memorial Airport. It is mutuall understood ad
agreed between the parties hereto that the money to be paid by
the Operator to the Owner under this agreement is in lieu of all
pther rentals in any other instrument reserved, and that the
first Three Hundred and Four Dollars ($304) paid under this
agreement is to be received by the Owner 9s fu;l payment of the
rent reserved in the aforesaidmeritioned 99-year lease. It is
further mutuall understood and agreed between the parties hereto
that the Two per cent (2%) hereby agreed to be paid includes the
gross income to the Operator from the following: t'irplane sales,
airline service, charter plane service, student training, and aiiy
and all other activities and operations conducted by the said
Operator on and from said Jefferson City Memorlpal Airport.
