AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING TIME THE CONSTRUCTION OF SEWERS IN SEWER
DISTRICT NO. 83,wtthin the city of Jefferson, missouri .
Aft Be it ordained by the City Coumcil of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City C ounc it of the City of Jefferson,
M; ssouri, hereby declares that it deems is necessary for the
health of the inhabitants of the City, and for sanitary pur-
poses, that there must be constructed as soon as possible in
Sewer District No. 83, as estaBLished by Ordinance a sattary
sewer and it is ordered that the same be made azid constructed
without unnecessary delay and that the said district sewer be
connected with and into the present sewer on the south side of
Linden Drive 44 feet east of the northeast corner of lot 8
Block 2 City `view Terrace.
SECTION 2. That the said sewer shall begin on the south side of
Linden Drive, 44 feet east of the northeast corner of lot 8
Block 2 of �'ity '4iew Terrace , and 48 feet southerly of the
northerly line of Linden Drive; thence on a direct line 355.3
feet to the northeast corner of lot 1 Block 2 of "pity view Terrace;
thence south along the easterly line of lots 1,2 and 3 Block 2 of
Said "ubdivision, 154.7 feet.
: SECTION 3. Said sewer shall be constructed in all respects as
provided by Ordinance and shall be constructed of standard glazed
pipe, shall be constructed according to the plans ans specifications
of the "ity ngineer.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage and approval.

BE IT ORDAr,IED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSOI', b�ISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS;
SECTION 1. It appearing from the written report of the
City Engineer, the officer in charge of the work of construction
and completing sewers, in Sewer District No. 73 , in the
City of.Jefferson, Missoi,ri, heretofore submTMeZ7y said officer
to the ity::Council and approved and filed by it on this 2nd
day of October , 1950, at a regular meeting of the City
Council held on this date , that the total cost of castruction
and completing of said sewer as constructed, amounts of the sum
of $1811.24 , and it further appearing that said report of said
officer diil apportion said costs against the several lots or
pieces of ground in said Sewer District No. 73 , exclusive
of street in proportion to the area of the whole of said Dis-
trict 110. 73 exclusive of the public highways, and it
furhter appearing that the total number of square feet contained
in the aggregate number of lots and pieces of ground situated

in the said Sewer tistrict No. 73 exclusive of the
�ublic highways herein amounts to 145 406.00 Sqvare feet#
nd It further appearing from the said report t on proper
apportionrrent of said costs such lots or pieces of grupd in
said Sewer "istrict No. 73 . so situated, each square foot
of ground contained in said lots or pieces of groiand in said
Sewer District 1•Jo. 73 is chargeable with the sum of
�0.0124564 per square foot.
Now, therefore, for the purpose of paying for the work of
construction aid completion of sewers in said Sewer District No.
73 together with all necessary laterals, inlets, catch
basiNs-
, manholes, and other necessary appurtenances thereto
appertaining, there is hereby levied and assessed against the
several and hereiriafter described lots or pieces of ground within
the bounds of said Sewer District No. 73 . situated in the
name of the respective name of the owner or owners of said lots or
pieces of ground, a special tax at the rate of $0.0124564
per square foot for each and every square foot of ground so
situated as aforesaid.
SECTION 2, Each of the lots or pieces of ground so mentioned
and referred to in Section 1 of this Ordinances, against which ,
a special tax bill is specified in Section 1 of this ordinaice is
levied and assessed and the same is hereby levied and assessed and the
description of said lots or pieces of ground and the anme of the owner
or owners thereof in 'which the tax is levied and assessed and the cost
per square foot and the amount assessed each lot or piece of ground
in said sewer District No. U3 situated in the name of the
(pwner or owners thereof, the number of square feet owned by eac)a,
property holder in the lots or pieces of ground owned by each
owner in said Sewer District No. 73 is as follows:
