SECTION OF PAMELA STREET AND SWIFTS HIGHWAY 114 THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, UISSOtMI, 13Y PAVr]iG WITH PENETRATION BITUMINIOUS MACADAM
BE IT RODAIN!ED BY THE CO NCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Whereas, it was heretofore found and declared by the
City Council, by its resolution, passed ands pproved on September 11th,
1950 necessary to pave with. bdridt�fition bituminious macadam
the roadway of Pamela Street in the block from the center o_T_
the intersection of Pamela Street and Linden Drive
to the center of the intersection of ' aRela Street and
SwiSts Highway and it appearing to the City Council that sai
resolution has been dyly published according to thelaw for more
than seven (7) consecutive insertions, in the Post-Tribune
a daily newsdaper, printed and published in the City of Jefferson,
Missouri ., and a majority of the residents owners of property along
said section of Pamela Street liable for -the costs of
said improvement, an who own a majority of the front feet on said
Pamela Street intended to be improved., have not filed with the
City Olerk a protest against sai,! 6.ontdmo1at#3d improvement.
SECTION 2. That the said road of amela Street
between the curb line from the center of the intersection of Swift ' s
Highway and Pamela Street to the center of the intersection of
Pamela Street and Linden Drive in accordance with the plans and
specifications submitted by the City 'ngineer and filed in the
office of the City C rk, and that the total cost of the work aforesaid
shall be charged and levied as a special assessment against the real lxxkxt
estate abutting and fronting on said conte!pplated improvement, and
special tax bills 4all be issued therefor, as provided in the City
Charter, and in Sections 764,765,766 and 867 Qf Chapter 13, of the
Revised Ordinances of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, 1950, and of
the Revised Statutes of the State of Missouri, 1939, and amendments
thereto
SECTION3. The City Engineer is hereby instructed to advettise for

bids for this i ,provement.
SECTION 4. this Ordinance shall take effect and be in,force from
and after its passage arld approval.
