in accordance with the plans and specifications submitted by the City
Engineer ad filed in the office of the City Clerk, and that the
total cost of the work aforesaid shall be charged and levied as a
special assessment against the real estate abutting and fronting on
said contemplated improvement, and special tax bills shall be ,
issued therefor, as provided in the City `'barter, and in Sections
764,,765,766 and 767 of Chapter 13, of the Revised Ordinances of
the -City of Jefferson., Missouri , 1941, and oft he Revised Statutes
of the State of Missouri , 1949, and amendments thereto
SECTION 3. he City Engineer is hereby instructed to ad-
vertise for bids for this improvement.
SECTION 4. k his Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from andafter its passage and approval.

AN ORDINANCE LEVYING AND ASSESSING A SPECIAL TAX BILL AGATNST THE
LOTS OF TRACTS OF LAND FRONTING OR ABUTTING ON THE RAODWAY OF
Binder Drive , from the end of the pavement north 165 feet
in the City of Jefferson, Missouri , for the improvement of the Boadway
by grading, curbing and guttering and paving with portland cement
concrete
BE IT ORDAIKED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON., AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is hereby levied and assessed at the rate
and cost price per front foot as specified in Section 2 of this
ordinance., against the aggregate lots or tracts of land fronting
or abutting on the roadway of Binder Drive, from thw end of the
pavement north 165 feet in the City of Jefferson,
Y,Issouri,, for the improvement of the roadway '>ender Drive
aforesaid, including such grading as may be necessary for the re-
ception of a cement sidewalk, the sum of$ 2310.00 as the total
cost of the improvement of said street and the number of front
feet fronting or abutting said raadway of said 'Binder Drive
aforesaid., between the aforesaid streets amounts of 275.0
running feet; the cost price per running foot is $ '8.-40 _
Section 2. For thepurpose of Paying said improvement of said
roadway of Binder Drive, from the end of the pavement north 165 feet
there is hereby levied arid assessed the sum of$_L.40 as a special
tax against each front foot of ground fronting or abutting_- said roadr
way of Binder Drive between the afoesaid streets, and contain
in such lot or plece of ground fronting or abuttinf -said improvedt--!- t,

Section 3. The name 6f each property owner ob owners and the
description of each lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting on
each side of Binder Drive from the eida of the pavement, north
365 feet
and the number of front feet owned by each owner or owners and contained
in the lots or tracts of land so owned and hbutting said block or
street between the aforesaid streets and the cost price per front
foot for said improvement arid the amount hereby levied and assessed
as a special tax for said improvement a,7ainst each lot or -)iece of
