SECTICE 1. It appearing from the written report of the '
CityEngineer, the officer in charge of the vork of construction
and complwting sewers, in Sewer District Igo. 81 , in. the
City of Jefferson, TvIissouri, heretofore submitted by said officer
to the City Council and approvaed and filed by it on this 5th I'
day of March , 1951, at a reg ular meeting of the City�uncil
held on this date, that the total cost of construction and com-
leting of said s ewer as constructed, amounts to the sum of
2588.77 , and it further appearing that said report of said
officer did apportion said costs ac;ainst the several lots or
pieces of ground in said Sewer District No. 81 , exclusive of
streets in proportion to the area of the whole of said District
No. 81 exclusive of the public highways, and it further appear-
ing that the total number of square feet contained in the aEgretage
number of lots and pieces of ground situated in the said Dewer
I District Eo. Sl , exclusive of the public highways therein
amounts to 902201.00 square feet. And it further appearing
from tl:e said report that on proper apportionment of said costs
such lots or pieces of ground ins aid Sewer District 1,7o . 81 ,
so situated, each so_uare foot of ground contained in said lots
or pieces of }ground in said Sewer Listrict I'o. 81 _ is charge-
able with the sizm of tir 0. 0257 per square foot.
Now, therefore, for the purpose of paying for the work of
construction anc epmpletion. of sewers in said Sewer District No.
81 together with all -ecessary laterals, inlets, catch basins,
1 manholes , and other necessary ap.)urtenances thereto appertaining, ?.

and the name of the owner or owners thereof in which the tax

amount assessed each lot or piece of ground in said Sewer Dis-
tinct No. 81 situated in the name of the owner or owners
thereof, the number of square feet owned by each property hold-
er int he lots or pieces of ground onwed by each owner in said
Sewer District No. 81 is as follows:

SECTIOE 3. The City Clerk is hereby instructed to pro-
ceed at once to make out special tax bills under the seal of
the City of Jefferson, Y--ssouri, of the aforesaid amounts K
against said lots or pieces of land in the aforesaid Sewer
District No. 81 situated, mentioned and described in the
heretofore mentioned sections of this ordinance in the name of
the owner or pwners thereof, which said special and certified
tax bills shall be signed by the Mayor and attested and re-
corded by the City Clerk and delivered to Scgell Construction
Company , the contractor of the work of construction of i
the aforesaid sewers as provided andrequired by the Charter of i
the city of Jefferson and the Ordinances authorizing and orderi g
the construction of sewers in said Sewer District Nu. 81
heretofore passed and approved by the Council.
SECTIOE 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in

force from and after its passage and approval. !
