SECLIC.T 3. The City Clerk is hereby instructed to proceed
at once to amke out special tax bills under the seal of the City
of Jefferson, I11i_ssourl, of the aforesaid amounts against said lot
or pieces of land in the aforesaid Sewer District NO. 83
situated, mentioned and devicribed in the heretofore mentioned
sections of this Ordinance in the name of the owner or owners
thereof, which said s_)ecia; and cer':ified tax bills shall be
signed by the Mayor and attested and recorded by the City I'lork
and delivered to Schell Construction Company , the
Contractor of the owrk of construction of the aforesaid sewers as
provided andrequired by the Charter of the �'ity of Jefferson and
the Ordinances authorizing and ordering the construction of
sewers in said Sewer District No. 83 , heretofore passed
and approved by the Council.
SECTION 4. This Ordinancw shall take effect and be in fort
from and after its passage and approval.

AN ORDINANCE LEVYING A!vD ASSESSII,G A SPECIAL TAX AGAINST EACH LOT
OR PIECE OF GROL'I•:D LYING 3,,7,TWEEN A,,Z SITUATE WITHIN THE ,301i1dDS OF
SEWER DISTRICT NO. (84 ) in the City of Jeffersonm Missour ,
in the name of the owner or owners thereof for constructing and
completing sewers therein.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUI3CIL OF THE CITY OF JE);FERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. It appearing from the written report of the
City Engineer, the officer in charge of the work of construction
and completing sewers, in Sewer District No. 84 , in the
City of Jefferson, 1','i,ssouri , heretofore submitted by said officer!
r to the City Council and approvaed and filed by it on this 5th
day oil March , 1951, at a regular meetinf of the Uity Council
held on this date, that the total cost of construction and com-
pleting of said sewer as constructed, arounts to the sum of
1941.60 , and it further appearing that said report of said
officer cer i apportion said costs against the several lots or
pieces of ground in said Sewer District No. 84 , exclusive
of streets in proportion to the area of the whole of said Djastric
No. 84 exclusive of the public highways , and it further appea -
,' ing that the total number of square feet contained in the aggre-
gate number of lots or pieces of ground situated in the said
Sewer District No. 84 , exclusive of the public highways there ri
amounts to 119,2-42.0 — square feet. And it further appearing
from the said report that on proper apportionment of said costs
such lots or pieces of ground in said Sewer District No. 84
so situated, each square foot of ground contained in said lots
or pieces of ground in said Sevier District 1•!0. 34 is charge-
able with the sum of $V 0. 0162828 per square foot.
Now, therefore, for the purpose of paying for the work
of construction and completion of sewers in said Sewer District
N . 84 together with all necessary laterals inlets catch l
bas ns, manioles, and other necessary appurtenances thereto `
appertaining, there is hereby levied and assessed against the i
several and hereinafter described lots or pieces of ground with-
in the bounds of said Sewer District No. 84 , situated in they
