That Ordinance 1-Tumber 5180 of the �'ity of Jeffer son., Till.ssouri, relating to the licensing, grading and operation of Restaurants, be, and the sane is hereby amended, by adding thereto a new section, to be known as Section 15., creating the office of Health Officer, defining his powers and duties, and fixing his compendation, to read as follows: "Section.,15. There is hereby created the office of Her-1 th Officer of the - ity of Jefferson, M. ssouri , which said Health Officer shall be appointed by the Mayor, upon the recommendation of the Health Board acid with the consent of the City Council. It shall be hi's duty to inspect the restaurants of the City of Jefferson, grade them in accordance with the sta-- dards as set out in this ordinance, and generally to enforce the 'provisions of this ordinance. He shall serve for a term of two years or until his successor is duly appointed and qualified. He shall possess quali- fications necessary for the enforcement of this ordinance, to be determined by the i5oard of "ealth. His compensation shall be the 9_ym of e75.00 per month. Section 2. All ordinances of parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 3. This ordinance shall be in forer from and of its- passage and approval.
