Whereas, it was heretofore found and de- clared by the City Council, by its resolution, passed and approved on April 9th, 1951 necessary to pave with cement concrete the roadway of Binder Drive in the block from the center of the intersection of Binder Drive and Oakview to the center of the intersection of Binder Drive and the north curb line of Hillsdale Street, and it appearing to the City Counci that said resolution has been duly published according to thei law for more than seven (7) consecutive insertions, in the Poat-Tribune , a daily newspaper, printed and published In the Uity of Jefferson, T1issouri , and a ma,.iority of the resident owners of property alonfr said section of Binder Drive liable for the costs of said improvement, and who own a � maority of the front feet on said Binder Drive intended to b improved, have not filed with the City Clerk a protest agai.rs said contemplated improvement. I SECTIOU 2. Thattthe said road of Binder Drive between the curb lines, from the center of the intersection of Binder Drive and Oakview Street to the center of the 1tersection of Binder Drive and the north curb line of Hillsdale Street in accordance with the plans and specifications submitted by thel City Engineer and filed in the office of the City Clerk, and that the total cost of the work aforesaid shall be charged and levied as a special assessment against the real estate abutting and fronting on said contemplated improvement, and special tax bills shall be issued therefor, as provided in th City Charter, and in Sections 764,765 766 and 767 of Chapter 130 of the Revised Ordinances ;)f the 6it;y of Jefferson, Y�ssouri, 1941, and of the Revised Statutes of the State of � Missouri, 1949, and amendments thereto SECTION 3. The Uity Engineer is hereby instructed to advertise for bids for this improvement. SECTIN; 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and e in force from and after its passage ar:d approval.
