Fifth--For the purpose of creating a Firemen's Retirement
System for firemen in the City of Jefferson, W_ssouri , the sure of
5 -cents on the one hundred dollar valuation.
SECTIO14 2. It shall be the duty of the City Clerk to cause
to be extended in the appropriate columns opposite each item of
taxable. property on the assessment book, as returned by the Assesso ,
of the City of Jefferson, li'!jssouri, arid corrected by the County
Board of Equalization, -the amount of t axes required to be paid by
each person as provided by Section 1 of this Ordinance.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF "EFFERSO11Y

Section 1. Definitions. For the purpose of this ordinance, a
"Deliver-- passenger vehicle used indelivering goods,
Car" is a passell,,r
wares or merchandise within the City of Jefferson, Missouri ., and
a "Service Car" is a passenger vehicle used for the purpose of
servicing goods, wares or merchandising, and transporting the nec-
essary tools and eqft1pnent for such service within the pity of
Jeffersm,. Yi-ssouri.
Section 2. Registration of Delivery and Service Cars and Fee thero' 'o
Every delivery car, or service car., to come with-In the provisions o '
this ordinance, shall be registered on or before the 1st day of
August, 1951, and annually thereafter on or before the lst day of
August, with the Police Department of the City of Jefferson,, and
the owner thereof shall pay an annual registration fee of Teri
Dollars (N10.00) for each vehicle so registered.
Section 3. Affidavit required. At the time of rer�istrationt the
owner of the vehicle to be ref.,;istered ,-,hall furnish to the Police
L'partmeiit of the City of Jeffc.-rscn, a statement, under oaths and
signed by the owner or manager o, the business or ffrm in whose
service said vehicle is to be used, (lescribing the vehicle to be
registered (including , ake, iiodel, r.,-.otor number and State License
flumber) and stat1lig that the name of the firm for which the ve*-icle '
