I. Call to order — 7:00 p.m.
A. Commissioners present —Gahlen Bruer (Chair), Brad Kvanbek
(Secretary), Gerry Dykhoff, Theresa Richey, Ray Essendrup and Randy
Hughes.
B. Also present— Carolyn Smith, Phil Zietlow, Jim Dillman and Bill
Dermody

III. Approval of last meeting's minutes. — Approved.
IV.Business.
A. Updates.
1. Morningside — None.
2. Independence Beach — None.
3. Maple — None.
4. Holy name — None.
5. Hunter —None.
6. Legion Park — None
B. Morningside Park Equipment public comments — Dave Owen of Earl F
Anderson explained bid of$43,794.00 (equipment=$29,971.00; equipment
insta1148737.00; wood fiber materia145140.00).
1. Mr. Owen and Commissioners fielded questions from the 8.5 residents
that attended meeting. Discussed revising bid to include additional items.
2. Also discussed Pool, warming house, basketball court and trails for
Morningside.
3. Motion passed — To recommend city council approve the Earl F
Anderson Bid of 10-16-01 less installation labor, except for supervisory
(labor to be provided by residents and city); plus added swing and length
to track ride.

C. Highway 55 bridge a Sioux Drive - Inspection may be added to spring
tour but decided issue would be better studied after trail is in.
D. Wild Meadows trail recommendation. - Discussed Draft of Resolution
and changes, resolution approved, Gahlen will prepare for city council.
E. Election of officers - Gahlen elected chairman, Randy elected vice
chairman (after some prodding), and Brad elected secretary (after being
bullied).
