�Aiv ORDINANCE of the `Oity of Jefferson, Missouri. , vacating and dis-
continuiiig as a public thoroughfare the easterly 283.12 feet of the
public alley in Schott 's Sul)divisiori of Suirset Hill as od record in
Plat Book 2 at Page 39, Cole ('ounty Recorder 's Officer,: in the City o
Jefferson, Y14 ssouri , and authorizing and directing the Mayor of the
City of Jefferson, Missouri , to execute all necessary ii.tdtruments
to the owners of the adjace,,t lots to aud for said alley so vacated,
as the parties ei,tit'led thereto, as shown by the record title to sai
adjacent acrd a butting property gnd declaring a reverter to the re-
spective owners of said real estate.
WHEREAS, It has beery shown to the k'ity Council of the City of Jeffer c
Y ssouri, that the owners of the abutting property on the easterly
2$3.12 feet of the pu ::lic alley in Schott 's `'ubdivision of Sunset
Hill as of record in Plat Book 2 At Page 39, Cole Coucity Recorder 's
Office, irr the City of Jeffersn, Missouri, have teed, so that said
alley has ceased to be of aily use 2or beliefit as a public thorough-
fare and that if would clot iticonveriience the public or the citizet,s
of the City of Jefferson, Missouri , to discontinue and vacate said
alley as a public thoroughfare, therefore:
BE IT ORDAI1vED BY THE CITY CUivCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFh:RSC 1%1, MISSOURI
AS FOLLOWS
SECTIOn 1. It is herebydeclared that the City Council- of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, deems it .,ecessar7 and expedient to vacate acid
idscontinue the eastel y 283.12 feet of the public alley in Sci.ott 's
Subdivision pf Sunset Hill::as of record in Plat Book 2 at rage 39,
Cole County Recorder's Office, in the City of Jefferson, Missouri. .
All the owners of the property and adjacellt lots abutting on and
dad jacerrt to said alley having petitioned the said City Council to
vacate and discontinue aaid alley as a part of the public thourough-
fare abd the power aiid tight of reversion of said alley to the adjac
exit acid abutting property as is provided by statues of the Stdte of
14, ssouri, is hereby authorized aiid directed to execute and deliver
all proper and sufficient writings, or iristrume,its for, or on behalf
or iii the game of the City to fully acrd completely establish alid
guarantee to the adjacent and abutting property owirers their legal
rights in connection with the above vacation of said alley.
SECTION 2. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances Contrary to iri
conflict with br inconsistent with the provisions of this Ordinance
are hereby repeal. ed.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be irr force from
acid after its passage and approval.
