AMENDING & SUPPLEMENTING CHAPTER 160, ENTITLED LAND
DEVELOPMENT OF THE CODE OF THE BOROUGH OP CARTE' RE,T
OFF- STREET PAMNG & LOADING §160 -107
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret that Chapter
160, entitled land Development is hereby amended and supplemented as follows;
Section 1. Stacked parking of vehicles (front to rear) shall be a permitted off - street
parking configuration on one and two family residential lots provided that
each such stacked parking configuration is assignable to a separate
dwelling unit on said lot.
Section 2. All Ordinances or parts thereof inconsistent with the provision of this
Ordinance are hereby repealed limited to the extent of any such
inconsistency.
Section 3. If any section, paragraph, subdivision, clause or provision of this
Ordinance is adjudged invalid, such adjudication shall apply only to the
section, paragraph, subdivision, clause or provision so adjudged and the
remainder of this Ordinance shall be deemed valid and effective.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall only take effect upon passage and publication
according to applicable law after its referral to the Planning Board.
