BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COTTvCIb OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSOfi ,

SECTICv 1. It is hereby declared that the City Council of the
ity of Jefferson, M.issouri , deems it necessary and exppdient to
vacate a,.id discontinue the alley in the Block between Kathryn
Aveilue, Morris Avenue, Elizabeth Street slid Myrtle Street, in the
City of Jefferson, Mtssouri , as shown oil the original plat of
11orris and Edmonds Addition. All the owners of the property and
adiaceiit lots butting ay- aii. adiaceilt to said alley having peti-
tioned the said City Council to vacate and discontinue said alley
as a part of the public thoroughfare and the alley is hereby for-
ever vacated arid discoiitinued as a public thoroughfare and the
power and right of reversion of said alley to the adjacent and
abuttiiig property owners as is provided by Statutes of the State
of Missouri , is hereby fully coiifimred and approved, and the Mayorl
of this City is hereby authorized aiid directed to execute arid de-
liver all proper and sufficient writings., or instruments for, on
behalf of or in the name of the City to fully and completely
establish and guarantee to the adjacent and abutting property owners
their legal rights in connection with the above vacation.
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of Ordinances coitrary to in
co,iflict with or incoiisistent with the provisions of this Ordinane
are hereby repelaed.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect aiid be in force from
and after its passage and approval.

comfort of the inhabitalits of the City and for sanitary purposes

ordered that the same be made and coi,sti-ucted without unnecessary
delay and that the said district sewer be connected with and into
the present sewer in the center of the alley 147. 5 feet west of th
