BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF' LIEFFERS ON,
MT`.1SOtIRI, AS FOLLOWS: I
SECTION 1. It is hereby declared that the City Uouncil of the City
of Jeffersonm Missouri , deems it necessary and expedient to vacate
II and discontinue that part of Hart Street, lying on the west side
of Wolff' s subdivision in the N rtheast quarter of Sectidn 12
Township 44 Range 12, being more particularly described as: Beginn-
ing on the east line of Hart Street 35.0 feet south of the northwes `
corner of lot 9 Block 15 of Wolff ' s Subdivision; thence southerly
along the easterly line of Hart Street in Wolff 's Subdivision 202.0
, feet; thence westerly parallel wbth McCarty Street 44.0 feet to the
westerly line of Wolff 's Subdivision aid the westerly line of Hart
Street; thence northerly along the westerly line of Hart Street,
110. 0 feet; thence northerly 82. 0 feet to the point of beginning.
ME All the owners of the property an adjacent lots abutting mad on and
Im adjacent to said street having petitioned the said City Council to
vacate and discontinue said portion of Hart Street as a part of the
public thoroughfare of said City, and daid portion of Hart Street
nishereby forever vacated and discontinued as a public thoroughf are
and the power and right of reversion of said portion of Hart Street
to the adjacent and abutting property owners , as is provided by
IStatues of the State of Missouri, is hereby fully confirmed and
1 a pproved, and the May or of this City ibs hereby authorized and
( directed to execute and deliver all proper and sufficient writings
or instruments for, on behalf or in the name of the City to fully
and completely establish and guarantee to the adjacent and abutting
property owners their legal rights in connection with the above
vacation of said street.
SECTION 2. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances contrary to in
conflict oP::lnconsistent with the provisions of th&s ordinance
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage and approval. i
