AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 511, REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI; 1941, RELATING TO ESTABLISHING APED I,?UMBERING OF THE
VOTING PRECINCTS OF THE WARDSTE THE CITY OF JEFFER�zON MISSOURI ; PRO-
VIDING THAT PREGI;NCT THREE OF THE THIRD WARD SHALL BE DIVIDED INTO
TWO NEW PRECINCTS TO BE KNOWN AS PRECINCT THREE AbiD FOUR OF THE THIED
WARD; PROVIDING FOR NEW 90UNDARIES OF' PREC -:NCT THREE ARID PRECINCT FCITR
OF' THE THIRD WARD: REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR DARTS OF ORDINANCES
CONFLICT WITH T'TIS ORDINANCE: AND PROVIDING AR EFFECTIVE PATE FOR
ENLOTMENT.
Whereas, the duly elected, qualified andacting Hoard of Regis
trats of the �'ity of Jefferson, 4 ssouri, pyrsuant to Section 114.0 0
R. S. M0. 1949, have found and recommended that Precinct "hree of t
Third Ward be divided into two new voting precincts to be known as I� ecinct
hree and Precinct Four of the Third Ward, and
Whereas, said Board of Re istrars have recommended the new
boundaries of Precinct Three and Precinct Four as provided for in
this Ordinance, therefor,
BE IT ORDAIFED BY THE CITY COUNCIL CF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
I•,:ISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. the 'Third voting precinct of thre Third Ward is hereby
divided into two new Precincts to b e known as 19RECIITCT 'l'hree and
PRECINCT Four of the Third Ward.
SECTION 2. ''he Boundary of the new 1hird Precinct of the 'hard Ward
shrill be as follows;
The north line of said precinct shall be the city limits; the
feast line shall be the center of Hamlin Street abd the extension
thereof to the north city limits; thesouth line of said pred nct shall be
industrial Road;:cthence along the center of Dix Road to the center df Main
Street; thence east along the center of Main Street to the center o
Ware Avenue; thence north along the center of Ware Avenue and the e -
tension thereof to the south line of `sunset Place Addition; thence ast
along the south line of Sunset Place Addition to the east line of s id
addition; thence north along the east line of Sunset Place Addition to
the north City limits.
SECTION 3. The boundary of the new ` ourth Precinct of the Lhird War
shall be as follows:
The north and west line of said precinct shall be the City
