That the Mai,ror and City "lerk of the City of Jefferson be and they are hereby authorized, directed and empowered to sign and execute for and in behalf of said City an application for membership and for electric service with the Callaway Electric 600perative., which said application is as follows, to wit: APPLICATION, FOR ly.EMBETiSHIP A,',1D FOR ELECTRIC SERVICE The undersigned (hereinafter called the "Applicant") hereby applies for membership in and agrees to purchase electric energy from Callaway Electric Cooperative (herein called the "Cooperativell upon the following tort.-is and conditions. 1. The Applicant, by paying a membership fee and becoi,ing a member, assumes no personal liability or responsibility ponsibility, for any debts or liabilities of the Cooperative., and it is expressly under stoor that under the law his private property is xempt from exe- ciition for any such debt or liability.
