BE IT ORLAII?ED BY THE CCUIdCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFPLRSOI', AS FOLLOWS-.
SECTION 1. Whereas, it was heretofore found .and declared by
the City Co;.ncil, by its resolution, passed and approved on
January 5th , 1953 necessary to pavo with cement concrete ma erials
the roadway of said s treet in the block from the center of the
intersection of West Wain Street and Westmore Drive to the cente
of the intersection of Westmore Drive and the north end of said
drive and it appearing to the City Uounci.l that said resolution as
been duly published according to. the law for more than seven (7)
consecutive insertions, in the Post Tribune , a dd ly ne
paper, printed and published in the City of Jefferson, M. ssovri,
and a majority of the resident owners of property along said ;Lett ten
of said street liable for the costs of said improvement, and vdlio
own a majority of the front feet on said street intended to be

x:1Xadffdx:kXXJ0A.x, have not filed with the City Clerk a protest
against said contemplated improvement.
SECTION 2. That the said r oad of Westmore Drive from the l
center of the Intersection of West Main Street and Westmore Dri e
and the north end of said Drive be paved with Bement concrete p e-
ment* in accordance with theplans and specifications submitted ly the
City Engineer and filed in the office of the City Clerk, and th t the
total cost of the work aforesaid shall be charged and levied as a special
assessment against the real estate abutting and fronting on sai con-
templated improvement, and special tax bills shall be issued th refor,
as provided in the City Charter, and in Sections 764,765,766 an 767
of Chapter 13, of the Revised ordinances of the City o f Jeffers n,
Nlssourks 1941, and of the Revised Statutes of t he State of Nis (ours,
1939, and amendments thereto.
SECTION 3. The City Engineer is hereby instructed to adv rtise
for bids for this improvement.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall !�
