AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY, CALIFORNIA, OF INTENTION TO
PROCEED UNDER ARTICLE 5, TITLE 5, DIVISION 1
OF THE GOVERNMENT CODE (PUBLIC SERVICE EASE-
MENTS VACATION LAW) TO VACATE EASEMENT.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Temple City,
California hereby declares its intention to proceed to vacate
that certain easement hereinafter described in Section 3 pur-
suant to Article 5, Title 5, Division 1 of the Government Code
(Public Service Easements Vacation Law).
SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of Temple City
hereby declares its intention to vacate that certain easement,
hereinafter fully described in Section 3.
SECTION 3. The easement to be vacated is that easement
described as follows:'
An easement for iicht and air over the easterly 30 feet
of Lots 16, 17, 18, and 19, and the southerly 30 feet of Lots
20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, and 26, and the westerly 30 feet of Lots
27, 23, 29, and 30, of Tract No. 10558, Book 173, Pages 4 & 5
of Maps, included within certain strips of land 60 feet wide
lying between the lines designated as "building set back lines ",
such strips to be kept open and free from building and structures
of any kind, excepting irrigation and sprinkling systems and
appurtenances thereto, as shown upon and as dedicated by the
map of said Tract No. 10553.
SECTION 4. The easement described in Section 3 immedi-
ately above is shown on that certain map described as Map No.
Tr.26522 on'file with the City Clerk of the City of Temple
City, located in the City Hall of the City of Temple City at
9664 East Las Tunas Drive, Temple City, California.
SECTION 5. The time and place for hearing all persons
interested in the proposed vacation will be at a public hearing
to be held on June 12th , 1961, at 7:30 p. m., in the City
Hall of the City of Temple City at 9664 East Las Tunas Drive,
Temple City, California.
SECTION 6. The City Manager of the City of Temple City
shall cause to be posted conspicuously notices of easement va-
cation along the line of the .easement proposed to be vacated,

as hereinabove described in Section 3, in accordance with Sec-
tion 50441 of the Government Code of the State of California.
APPROVED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Temple City, California, at a regular meeting thereof held this
22nd day of May , 1961, by the following called vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN- Buchan, Dickason, Merritt, Tyrell,
Fitzjohn
NOES: COUNCILMEN -None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN -None
