AN ORDINANCE RATIFYING THE ACTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK OF
THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,IN EXECUTING, FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CI
OF JEFFERSON, A CONTRACT WITH GEORGE V. KOCH FOR THE EXTENSION
OF THE JEFFERSON CITY '.?EMORIAL AIRPORT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CI`T'Y COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFbEiRSDN, i
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The action of the Mayor and the City Clerk of
the City of Jefferson, M, ssouri, in executing on October 8th,
1953, for and on behalf of the City of JeffersD n, a contract
with George V. Koch for the extension of the Jefferson. City
;Memorial airport is hereby expressly ratified by the City Cgounci e
Section 2. A copy of said contract is hereby attached.
Section 3. Said contract is hereby modified in the follow '
ing respects to--wit:
On Page One (1) of the first sheet under the title
"Proposal" on the last line of said Page, the word
"working" is to be substituted for the words "consec-
utive calander."
On Page three (3) of the contract, paragraph seven (7)
is hereby' amended and modified to read as follows:
"Day" or "Days", unless herein otherwise expressly
defined, shall mean a working day or days of eight hours
each.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in force and take effe t
from and after its passage and approval.
