SECTION 4. That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to make out
special tax bills in favor of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, fon
the within mentioned work in accordance with the Ordinances of th :
City of Jeffersnn, Missouri, relative to said kind of work and in
accordance with the Charter of said City in regard to said work
and according to the Statutes of the State of Missouri , as made a d
provided.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall ±take effect and be in force form and
after its passage and approval.

AN ORDINANCE, levying and assessing special tax bills against thel
lots or tracts of land fronting or abutting oC the roadway of Joh , 's
Street , from Monroe Street to U. S. Highway N . 54, all of said
improvement is within the limits of sprinkling, oiling, repairing;
surfacing and r2surfacing District Number Twelve (12) of the City,;
of Jefferso n, M . ssouri.
BE IT ORDAIVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, !
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: I
SECTION 1. There is hereby levied and assessed at the rate and cot
price per front foot as specified in Section 2 of this Ordinance
against the aggregate lots or tracts of land fronting or abutting
on the roadway of John' s Street, from Munroe Street to U. S. Highway
No. 54, all of said improvement being within the limits of sprink'
ling, oiling, surfacing and resurfacing District Number Twelve (1".� )
of the City of Jefferson, Missouri , for the improvement of said
roadway of said street aforesaid by repairing, surfacing and re-

surfacing the sum of $454.50 as the cost that is levied by statue
for the improvement of said street and the number of front feet
fronting or abutting sail. strdet.•;aforosaid, amounts to 757. 5 feet
and the cost price per running foot is $0. 60.
SECTION 2. 1"or the purpose of paying for said improvement of said
roadway of John' s Street, from Monroe Street to U. S. Highway No
54, all of said improvement being within the 1 '1-0its of psrinkli.Tz
oiling, repairing, surfacing and resurfacing District Number
Twelve (12) of the City of Jefferson, Missouri , there is hereby
levied and assessed the sun of $0. 60 as a special tax against each
front foot of ground fronting or abutting the said roadway of said
street aforesaid, and contained in such tracts of land fronting
or abutting said improved roadway of said street aforesaffid.
SECTION 3. The name of each property owner or owners and the de-
scription of the lots or pieces of ground frontirg or abutting on
each side of John's Street, between Monroe Street and U. S. High-
way No. 54, all of said improvement being within the liirits of
sprinkling, cilia , repairing, surfacing and resurfacing District
Number Twelve (12) of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, the number
of front feet owned by each owner or owners in the lots or tracts
of ladn owned and abutting said block or street, the cost per front
foot for said improvement am the amount levied and assessed as a
special tax for said improvement and the amount levied and assessed
as a special tax for the improvement against each lot or piece of
ground fronting said roadway of said street aforesaid is as follows;
