AN ORDINANCE to repeal Ordinance No. 5560, rolatIng to the fares
that the Jefferson City Bus Lines, Inc. is authorized to charge,
and enacting in lieu thereof a new ordinance, No. 5755 authori
zing the Jefferson City Ous Lines, Inc. to establish a new sched-
ule of fares as i.s hereinafter set forth.
BE IT ORDAINED BY TILE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOITRI, AS FOLLOWS-.
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 5560 is hereby repealed and
in lieu thereof a new ordinance No. 5755 , is hereby enacted
authorizing the Jefferson City Bus rines, Inc. to establish a
new schedule of fares for the operation of their busses in the
City of Jefferson, M4ssouri.
Section 2. ORDINANCE NO. 5255 Fares covering one
continuous ride between any points on the route herein specified
or as hereinafter provided within the city limits of Jefferson
City, Missouri, shall be as follows:

Policemen and riremen. Free, as hereinafter

Transfers shall be issued without charge between routes on
(1) and two (2).
All transfers shall be limited to the same or diverting d.i -
': ections and shall be used within a thirty (30) minute peri d,
and no transfer shall enable a passenger to return to the
vicinity from which he started without paying a second far( .
A transfer issued 0hall be used only by the person to whom ;
it is issued. The ompany may make such reasonable regulat Ins
as it may deem necessary to prevent misuse of the transfer,
Policemen and Firemen shall be permitted to travel free of
charge when in uniform or upon presentation of proper ere
dentials. Policemen in plain clothes shall be permitted to
travel free of charge upon presentation of an official pas
issued by the Cop. parjy.
The Company has undertaken to maintain its present rate fa 3e
based?.)upod present waves, rneto=•rials and commodity costs. If crag s,
materials Pnd/or commoaity>�bosts are increased substantially, t e
Company upon due application and presentation of proof and hear ngs
as hereinafter provided for, shall be granted and increase in i s
rate of fare to correspond wifh such increase in wanes, rnateria :s
and commodity costs.
