AN CRTTNIANCE CHANGING AND R�OPIFIKTNG THE ZONING ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY CF JEFFERSON. WITH REFERENCE TO CERTAIN LAND WITHIN THE CITY
OF JEFFERSON FIR CE DI,r-.r,PRTCT 110 TC DTSTRICT "Ell.
V%,'HEREAS, the Shell Oil Corpany has filed a petition now
requesting the City Council to amend., change and reclassify the
present zoning of the land herein described, and WHEREAS.the city
Council has referred the matter to the Planning and coning Commission
and WHEREAS said Commission has made its report recommending that
said land be rezoned from a District "C" to a Di,?triet "Ell. and
WHEREAS' all interested parties have been notified that the
City Council of the City of Jefferson would hold a nublic heatbng
on the question of whether or not siad land should be rezoned by
the publication of notice in a newspaper of general circulation
in the City more than fifteen (15) days prior to said hearing, and
WHEREASO the amity Council of the City of Jefferson has
givwn all parties an-opportunity to be heard upon the question of
whether ,)r' not said land should be rezoned; now therefore:
BE IT ORDAIINTED BY THE CTTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON
1VISSO--RI, AS FOLLCWS:
Section 1. Hereafter the following described land of the
ShaIll Oil Company shall be classified as a District "Ell, and the
zoning ordinances now in effect are hereby amended and modified
so that the land is now a District ?I Ell. Said land is more -)ar-
ticularly described as follows:
Beginning at the southeast corner of Inlot No. 451 in
the City of Jefferson, Cole County, Missouri, thence
westerly along the north line of McCarty Street for
104 feet 42 inches; thence north 73 feet; thence east
parallel with the north line of McCarty Street lo4
feet 41 inches to the west line of Broadway; thence
south along the west line of Broadway 73 feet to the
point of beginning.
Section 2. All ordinances of parts of ordinances in confli .t
with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. 4.his ordinance shall take effect and be in fore
from and after its passage and approval.
