3E IT C RDATNED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFIERSOTT,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOINS:
Section 1. Ordinancex No. 5762 of the �/ity of Jefferson,
Missouri , is hereby expressly repealed.
Section 2. The Mayor and the City Clerk of the City of
Jefferson., Missouri, are hereby authorized and directed to execute
and deliver, for and on behalf of the City, a warranty deed to the
State Highway Demrtnent of T�Iissouri for 2. 92 acres of land, said
land being part of that tract of land known as the Uulle Tract,
said 2. 92 acres being located asi shown on the State Highway .Depart-
ment Plans termed the U.S. Route 54 (Miller-McCarty Street C-)n-
nection in Jefferson Cit,r. )
Secti.on 3. The consideration showing on the face of the
said warranty deed shall be Nine Thousand ($9000.00) Dollars in
exchange for said 2. 92 acres of land; the actual purchase price
paid however by the State Highway Deoartment shall be Four Thousand
rive Hundred (44500. 00) Dollars because this land is City property
necessary for right of way for the State Highway Department of
M, ssouri and the City has agreed to pay one-half of the cost of sail
right of way. The figure on Nine thousand ($9000. 00) Dollars as c -i
consideration instead of 1"our Thousand Five Hundred ($4500.00) is
used on said deed to enable the State Highway Department Bureau of
Audits to balance their books to acquire Federal -,"iinds.
Section 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 5. This ordinance shall take effect a•,-d be in force
from and after its passage and approval.
