WHI�:REAS, the Nissouri Power & Light Company has filed a petition
now requesting that the City Co!lncil amend, change and reclassify
the present zoning of the land herein described, and WHEREAS the
City Coi ncil has referred the natter to the Planning and Zoning
Commission, and W`4EREAS said Commission has made its report recomm-
ending that the said land be rezoned from a District "B" to a
District "F", and
WHEREAS, all interested parties have been notified that the City
Council cif the Citv of `'efferson would hold a public hearing on
the question of whether or not said land should 1�e rezoned by
the publication of notice in a newspaper of general circulation in
the City more than fifteen (15 ) days prior to said hearit.ng, and
1'PHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson has divan all
parties an opportunity to be " eprd upon the question of whether
or not said land should be rezoned; now therefore
RE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL 01P THE, CITY OF UEFFERSON,
MTSSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Hereafter the following described land of the
Missouri Power and Light Company shall be classified as a District
"F", and the zoning ordinances now in effect are hereby amended and
modified so that the land is now a Distract "F". Said land is
more particularly described asfollows;
"A oast of Tnlot 612 of the City of Jefferson as
shown on the plat in the County Recorder' s Office
of Cole County, Missouri and specifically describd
as:
Beginning at a point on the easterly line of Tnl.ot
61.2 that is 30 feet southerly from the northeast-
erly corner thereof; thence southerly along said
easterly line 39 .f. -et 4N inches; thence westerly
parallel with the so therly line of said inlot lo4
feet 4� inches to the westerly line thereof; thence
northerly along the westerly line 69 feet 4-21- inches
to the northwesterly corner thereof; thence easterly
along the northerly line of said Inlot 44 feet 42
inches; thence southerly parallel with the easterly
line of said inlot 30 feet; thence easterly parallel
with the northerly line of said inlot 60 feet to the
point of beginning.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconflict
with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and bein force
from and after its passage and approval.
