OF THE CITY OF JEF'F?,RcO7T, TP.TSSOURI.
BE IT Or:DAINED BY THE CITY COFTTCIL OF' THE 017Y OF IT:,FFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Hereafter the 3oard of J�eslth of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri , shall consist of the IvInvor, the `'ity Physician
the Health Officer, the Milk Inspector, the Plumbing Inspector, and
one member of the City Council from each ward of the City tO be
elected by the Council at the first regular meeting thereof after
the annual "It-y election of each year, or as soon thereafter as
possible. All members cf the Board of Health shall serve for a
term of one „year, or, until the first rer°u}ar meeting of the
Council after each annual city election. he IV;ayor ::hall be Chair-
man of the Board and shall have the owoer' to designate the
Councilman from each Ward that is to be a member of the Bos.rd.
Section 2. All ordinances or oe.rts of ordinances in con-
flict with this ordinance are hereby revealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect
from and after its passage and approval .

Section 1. Ordinance No. 5424 of the City of Jefferson,
Yissouri, which amended Ordinance No. 5180 ,)f the City of
Jefferson, Missouri , relating to the licensing, grading and
operati,)n of r. estai.irants by adding thereto a new section to be
known as Section 15, creating the office of Health Officer and
defining his Dowers and duties and fixing his compensation, be
and is hereby expressly revealed.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect
from and after its passage and approval.
