Section 1. !here is hereby created the office of General
ustodian of the City Cemetery in Jeffersongity, is issoiTrip
Section 2. Said office shall be filled by appointment of
the Mayor with the consent of the Council..
Section 3. The term of said office shall be for two years
and said office sh,pll be filled at the first tegula.r meeting of
the City Council after t1le enn-al city election in the even

Section 4. In the event of the death or resignation ,of•' said
:eneral Custodian, or, inability to o^rform the duties of said
office for any reason, the Mayor shall have the rij^ht to appoint

Section 5. The qualifications of said office shsll be de-
termined by the City Council .
Section 6. The General (ustodisn sh^11 have all necessary
pcwers to enforce and carry out the City Ordinances nertaini.ng
to the City Cemetery.
Section 7. The rjen:,ral Cu -todian sh^11 haj-e the duty to en-d,, c
force and carry out efficiently all provisions in the City Ordi-
nences n�rtai_ning to the City Cemetery, to sign and issue certi-
ficates conveying the various lots in the same, to make an account
ing of all monies received from thesale of said lots to the City
Treasurer to ,)e kept in a separate fund by the treasurer for the
upkeep of a �d use of the Cemetery.
Section S. The General custodian of the clew City Cemetery
shall receive an annual salary of Three N,+ndred ($300.00) Dollp rs
to be paid in twelve monthly payments of Twenty-five ($425. 00) each

Section 10. This ordinance shall be in force and take effec
