Section 1. The i°layor of the City of Jefferson, Missouri.,
is hereby authorized and directed, for and an behalf of the City
of Jefferson, Missouri ., to accept a quit-cloim deed from the
Archbishop of St. Louis , Joseph E. Ritter, to the following
described land, located in Jefferson Cit.%T, Ccle County, Yi.ssouri;
"A hart of Lot 19 of Swift &- Tr.ompson' s Subdivision
of the Northwest Quarter of Section 13, lownship 44
North, Ranee 12 West, more )articularly described as
follows: 3)eginning at the ncrtl-) line of said lot at a
ooint 60. 06 feet west of the northeast cornor thereof:
thence south parallel to the east line of said lot 402.0 fax.: 21
feet to the north line of Stadium Street, as now estab-
lished; thence in an easterly direction along the north
line of Stadium Street 51. 5 feet, more or less, to a
point that is 10. 06 feet west of the east line of said
lot 19; thence north parallel to the east line of said
lot 19 for a distance of 404. 0 feet to the north line
of said lot 19; thence west 50. 0 feet to the point of
beginning.
This c,nveyance being made to the City for road
purposes anO. subiect to the condition that a Street
be graded, constructed and Daved on the said land
wit'-iin five (5) Nears after the date of this deed,
and if the said street is not thus constructed within
the said five years period, the above described land
to revert to the Archbishop of St. Louis.
Section 2. this ordinance shall take effect and be in force
