AN ORDIIJANCE, levying and assessing special tax bills against the
lots of tracts of land fronting or abutting on the roadway of -
Water Street, from Riverside Drive to the center zt line of Polk
Street, all of said improvement is within the lomits of sprinkling,
oiling, repairing, surfacing and resurfacing Listrict Number aour
(4 ) of the ity of Jefferson, Missourig
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. There is hereby levied and assessed at the rate and cost
price per foottas specified in Section 2 of this ordinance against;
the aggregate lots or tracts of land fronting or abutting on the
roadway of Water Street, from riverside Drive to the center line of
Polk Street, all of said improvement being within the limits of
sprink ing, oiling, surfacing and resurfacing District Number
Four (4 ) of the ity of Jefferson, Missouri, for the improvement
of said roadway of said street aforesaid by repairing, surfacing
and resurfacing the sum of $520. 00, as the cost that is levied by
statue for the improvement of said street and t he number of front
feet fronting or abutting said roadway of said street aforesaid,
amounts of 1000 feet and the cost price per running foot is $0.52.
SECTION 2. For the purpose of playing for said improvement of said
roadway of Water Street, from Riverside Drive to the center line
of Polk Street, all of said improvement being within the limits
of sprinkling, oiling, repairing, surfacing and resurfacing
District Number Four (4 ) there is hereby levied and assessed the
sum of $0. 52 as a special tax against each front foot of ground
fronting or abutting the said roadway of said street aforesaid,
and contained in such tracts of land fronting or abutting said im-
provement roadway of said street aforesaid.
SECTION S. The name of each property owner or owners and the de-
scription of the lots or pieces of around fronting or abutting
on each side of Water Street, from iverside Drive to the center
line of Polk Street, all of said improvement being _within the limit
of sprinkling, oiling, surfacing and resurfacing Listrict Number
our (4 ) of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, and abutting said bloc
or street, the cost per front foot for said improvement and the
amount levied and assessed as a special tax for said improvement
and the amount levied and assessed as a special tax for the im-
provement against each lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting
said street aforesaid is as follows:
