BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OIL' 0EFFERSON, MISSOdRI,
AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. That the City Council of the �'ity of Jefferson, Missour ,
hereby finds and declares that it deems it necessary to re air, su ;-
face and resurface at a cost not exceeding sixty cents (603 Der fr ;.nt last
of Southwest Boulevard, from the center of Swift' s Highway south to i
the City Limits, all of said improvement to be within the limits ofI'
surfacing and resurfacing, sprinkling, oiling and repairing Distrid't
Number T.elve (12) of the City of Jefferson, Vlssouri. All of saidI
work to be done according to theplans and specifications filed witli
the City Clerk. I
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby finds and declares that it deem
it advisable and for the best interest of the owners of property
to be charged with the cost of said work, that said work shall be
done by the city without letting a contract therefore, and that t e
City Street Commissioner is hereby directed to purchase the neces pry
materials and employ the necessary labor for the performance of sa
work and shallsuperintend the same and keep an accurate account of the
cost thereof, and do the work under the supervision of the City
Engineer.
SECTION 3. Teat the cost of such repairing, surfacing and resurfac ng xhakk
shall be defrayed by a special tax, to be assessed in favor of the ,
City, on the adjoining property fronting or bordering on the above
street where such work is done, in proportion that the lienar 'numb
of feet of each lot fronting or bordering thereon bears to the tot 1
number of linear feet of all the property chargeable with the tax
aforesaid in the territory embraced within this ordinance. Special
tax bills shall be issued evidencing such assessment, and shall be-
come liens on such property, and shall be issued and enforced as
provided by law.
SECTION 4. The cost of such repairingm surfacing and resurfacing
shall not exceed the sum of sixty cents (60) per front foot, per
annum, upon the property abutting upon the street aforesaid.
SECTION 5. All Ordinances, or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are in so far as they conflict, are hereby repealed.`
SECTION 6. -his Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage and approval.

AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE PLAT OF THE L. M. BECK
SUB-DIVISION, A SUB-DIVISION OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, BY LEONA
Y. BECK, AS HRREIFAFTER DESCRIBED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Leona M. Beck, owner of the real estate hereinafter de-
scribed and situated in the City of Jefferson, Missouri , having
submitted to the Council for its approval a Plat of said real esta le,
being a tract of land in the West Hall' of the North-West Quarter o I,
Section 12, Township 44 Range 12 West, in 'the bounty of Cole and
State of Missouri, as shown on attached plat and more particularly
described as follows:
From the northeast corner of the west Half of the
of the Northwest quarter of said Section 12; thence
South and along the East line of said West Half
of the Northwest Quarter xf a distance of 877.8
