1� adisan Street. And it appearing to the City Council that said
resolution has been duly published according to the law for
seven (7) consecutive insertions in the Jefferson �'ity Post-
Tribune, a daily newspaper printed and published in the City of
Jefferson, Missouri. And after hearing those who desire to be
heard on the matter concerning the paving of said street and
after finding that said Woodlawn Avenue between the curb lines,
from the center of the intersection of Woodlawn Avenue and Monroe
Street to the center of the intersection of Woodlawn Avenue and
Madison Street is less than 1200 feet in length and is between
and connecting two paved streets, the City ouncil of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri , still finds the improvement necessary to
be done.
SECTION 2. That the said roadway of Woodlawn Avenuem between the
curb lines from the center of the intersection of Woodlawn Avenue
and Monroe Street to the center of the intersection of Woodlawn
Avenue and Madison Street be graded, curbed and guttered with
cement concrete and paved with penetration bituminious or cement
concrete in accordance with the plans and specifications sub-
mitted by the City Engineer and filed in the offico cf the Oity
Clerk, and that the total cost of the work aforesaid shall be
charged and lebled as a special hssessment against the rer.1 es-
tate abutting wnd fronting on said contemplated improvement and
special tax bills shall be issued therefor, as provided in
Section 772 of Chapter 44 of the revised Ordinances of the �'ity
of Jefferson, Nissouri , and the revised Statutes of the State of
Mkssouri, 1949, and a-endments thereto. That the cost of the
curb and gutter shall be assessed only against the property
in front of which the same is constructed.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force and
ieffect from and after its passage and approval.

AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of the roadway of Hawbh
orn Parkway betwenn the curb lines from the center 6f the intersec-
tion of Hawthorn Parkway and Linden ' Drive to the south line of
I lot 25 Block 2 Panorama Hills in the Uity of Jefferson,Missouri,
by grading, curbing & guttering and paving with penetration bitumi-
nious macadam.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: i

SECTION 1. WHEREAS it was heretofore found and declared by the
City Council, by tts resolution, passed and approved on Augus# 2, I
1954, necessary to curb and gutter and pave with penetration

curb line from the center of the intersection of Hawthorn Parkway
and Linden Drive to the south line of Lot 25 Block 2 Panoramaffil.ls.
and it appearing to the Citv Council that said resolution has been
d7ly published according to the law for seven (7) consecutive in-
sertions in the Jefferson Cit Post-Tribune, a daily newspaper,
printed and published in the ity of Jefferson, Nissouriq And after
hearing those who desire to be heard on the matter concerning the
paving of said street and after finding that said Hawthorn Parkway
between the curb lines from the center of the intersection of
Hawthorn Parkway and Linden Drive to the south line of Lot 25
3lock 2 Panorama Hills is less than 1200 feet in length a&d is
between two connecting streets, the City Ooancil of the ity
of Jefferson, Missouri , still finds the improvement necessary to
