WItEREAS, application has been made to the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, by ROBE &GAV~I~%
T~uPRISES, L.L.C. for a Person-to-Person Transfer of A.B.C. LICElgSE~1201-
33-061-006 from EXIT 12, INC., representative holder of same, premises lo-
cated at 800 Blair Road, Carteret, NJ 07008 and the same representative
holder of A.B.C. License #1201-33-061-006 has consented to assign their
rights to said license to the aforesaid applicant, ROBE & GAVEL ~NT~PRISES,
L.L.C.; and
WIll,lEAS, according to law, the application for transfer was duly advertised
in the Home News Tribune, a newspaper circulated in the.BoroCg) of Carteret
no objections to said transfer, either verbally or zn writing, were
filed or made to the Governing Body o~ to the Municipal Clerk, and
WItI~,EAS, the application is complete in all respects and the applicant is
qualified to be licensed according to all standards established by Title 33
of the New Jersey Statutes, promulgated thereunder, as well as pertinent lo-
cal ordinances and conditions consistent with Title 33; and
WIll,lEAS, the applicant has disclosed and the local authority has reviewed
the source of all funds used in the purchase of said license and the li-
censed business and all additional financing obtained in connection with
the licensed business.
NOW, THI~d~DRE, BE IT AND IT IS HI~J~IYRESOLVI~), by the Mayor and Council of
the Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, that the
Plenary Retail Consumption License heretofore granted and issued to EXIT 12,
INC., representative holder of A.B.C. License #1201-33-061-006, to sell al-
coholic beverages in conformity with the laws, statutes, rules and regulations
of the State of New Jersey and the resoltuions, ordinances, rules and regu-
lations of the Borough of Carteret relating to and concerning said license
and the sale of alcoholic beverages at 800 Blair Road, Carteret, NJ 07008 be
and the same, subject to include Suspension imposed by Resolution #98-219,
is hereby transferred to the applicant, ROBE & GAVEL ENTERPRISES, L.L.C. and
to be held by them until such license expires, unless sooner revoked.
BE IT FURIltI~RESOL~, that the Municipal Clerk be and is hereby authorized
and directed to execute the endorsement of transfer on behalf of the Mayor
and Council of the Borough of Carteret; and
BE IT FtRITHI~IRESOLVED, that two (2) certified copies of this Resolution be
sent forthwith to the State of New Jersey, Department of Law & Public Safety,
Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control, Licensing Bureau, CN 087, Trenton,
New Jersey 08625-0087.
