AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TEMPLE CITY, CALIFORNIA, CHANGING THE REFERENCE
NUMBER OF ORDINANCE NO, 22-1060 TO ORDINANCE NO.
22-1063 PERTAINING TO CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTION LIMITS
WHEREAS, On March 15, 2022, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 22-1060,
adding Section 2-1-9 "Campaign Contribution Regulations" to Chapter 1 "City Council", Title 2
"Administration" to the Temple City Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, On May 17, 2022, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 22-1060, Series
B Code Amendments of Title 9 (Zoning Regulations), Chapter 1 (Zoning Code); and
WHEREAS, On May 18, 2022, while preparing the ordinance summary for publication,
staff noticed the error in the duplication of the ordinance reference numbers.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY HEREBY ORDAINS AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The reference number of Ordinance No. 22-1060 pertaining to Campaign
Contribution Limits is hereby changed to 22-1063 and all future references to the ordinance
adopted on March 15, 2022 shall hereafter be as Ordinance No. 22-1063.
SECTION 2: The City Clerk is authorized to take the necessary administrative actions to
change the ordinance reference number and ensure that the ordinance adopted on March 15,
2022, as Ordinance No. 22-1060, is hereafter referenced as Ordinance No. 22-1063.
SECTION 3: The City Council finds that this Ordinance is not subject to the California
Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Sections 15060(c)(2) (the
activity will not result in a direct or reasonably foreseeable indirect physical change in the
environment) and 15060(c)(3) (the activity is not a project as defined in Section 15378).
SECTION 4: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Ordinance
and to its approval by the Mayor and shall cause the same to be published according to law.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 21st day of June, 2022.
