�( INTERSECTIONS DIAGONALLY AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATION

BE IT ORDATMED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
j Section 1. In crossing streets at intersections9 pedestrianil
must r' ss over such portions of the street as is included within the lines
of the l sidewalk projected to the lines of the corresponding sidewalk on th
opposilte side of the street, and must not cross street intersections
diagoriil lly.
Section 20 This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
i from and after its passage and approval.

11 Section 3. Anyone violating any of the terms of this ordinance
shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, f
I MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. Where traffic control signals Pre not in place
(I or in operation, the driver of a vehicle shall yield the roght-
i of-way, slowing down if need be to so ,yield, to a pedestrian er,;:;�1
crossing the roadway within any marked cross walk or within any ��
!( uninarked cross-walk at an intersection. (!
Section 2. 'his ordinance shall be in force and effect it
from and after its' pas sage and approval.
Section 3. Anyone violating any of the terms of this
ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.
